Best Galleries to View/Purchase Photography in Tokyo and Kyoto

A series of fortunate events brings me to Tokyo and Kyoto next week. Can someone recommend photo galleries in Tokyo and/or Kyoto? I am not above fondling some collectible cameras either!

I was just in Tokyo. I visited a few photo exhibits, but none were galleries selling prints.

Tokyo Metro Photo Museum -- Hiroshi Sugimoto exhibit and new photography exhibit
Most of the Sugimoto exhibit is not strongly photographic, but still very interesting
