Best films for Rodinal?

Neopan 400 is my standard B&W film and Rodinal is my developer of choice.
I shoot @ 400 ISO in both 35mm and 120. Develops in 1/50 for 12min agitating the first 60sec and thereafter 10sec every 3 min, that is 3, 6 and 9 min. Stop with plain water, fix and wash. Works for me and I don't find it to be that grainy, YMMV.

I LIVED on apx100 and rodinal. The next best thing I believe is Fomapan 100. Looks very close. Also, efke 25 in rodinal gives a wonderful, creamy look.
I am not a fan of any of the delta films in rodinal...

I would have to vote for Efke/Adox 100 film in 35mm. I run with a 1:50 ratio for 10 min.

I know, reverse thinking, for sure. But, I have a lot of it, stocked up on Rodinal for my Techpan and then got ahold of a good amount of Technidol so that frees up the Rodinal.

The thing of it is, I am shooting very little black and white for the next few years as I am on a color film project. So I would like to stock up on a couple different films that really sing in Rodinal. A good shelf life of say, 10-20 years would be great, this is an investment into my future.

A good 100 and 400 speed film would be awesome.

I am getting nice results with Acros souped in Rodinal 1:100 for 21 minutes at 70F with reduced agitation (constant agitation for the first minute, then two slow inversions every five minutes) . I use 5ml Rodinal in 500 ml of water for each 36 exposure 35mm roll or 120 roll. When exposed at EI 80, this gives me slightly thin negs that print well with a grade 2.5 or 3 filter on Multigrade FB or Polygrade V FB papers with a condenser enlarger. I've also had interesting results with Delta 100, but I'm still on a learning curve with this film, and Acros has been so easy for me.

I've heard good things about Plus-X with Rodinal, as well as FP4, but I haven't had the time to fart around with them yet. I still have a bit of APX-100 in 120, but strangely enough, I've never used APX with Rodinal. I tend to use FG7 1+15 with water, no sulfite, or PMK for APX.

For faster films, I prefer HC-110 diluted 1+63 from the syrup or PMK Pyro. I am playing around with TX and Rodinal, but the jury is still out as far as to whether I like it or not. I may try NeoPan 400 in Rodinal soon, out of curiosity.

Great stuff guys ( and gals ), This is definately steer my choice of what films to store. Right now, room is an issue as I am working on a tribute to Kodachrome and have some 1,400 rolls of it filling the freezer to the top.

Suprisingly not many people have mentioned FP4, I've gotten great results in Rodinal. Also, Tri-X shot at 200 and stand developed is a current favourite of mine.

Delta 100 is outstanding in Rodinal (1+50). Sharpness and tonal range to die for.
