best alternative to TMY

I love TMY so much I am skeptical there is any replacement for it, but I don't want to buy any more 120 until the problems with backing paper are sorted out. Is Delta 400 the closest thing? I find HP5 significantly slower than TMY.

Delta 400 is the closest Ilford equivalent.

I have never noticed any speed difference between HP5 Plus and TMY2 though.

I've been shooting Delta 400 in 120 for a few years now it;s a great film, I switched to it from Tmax 400 because getting Kodak B&W film was near impossible while abroad.

I find HP5 slightly faster than the older TMY and shoot a lot of it in Turkey & Greece where I shoot 5x4 hand-held.
