Hey guys, I need some new 35mm film that gives you a really light red scale effect. And by 'light' I mean looking vintage and faded but with a very light red scale effect.
Thank you!

Any film will do if you overexpose it strongly enough. I usually use the cheapest 200ASA film from the drugstore (about 70cent a roll) and respool it myself... expose it to 200, it becomes very dark red with a little orange. Expose to 100 and it goes orange-red with a little yellow. 50ASA gives a faded look with lots of orange, but some green visible too. Finally, 25 is best for that "vintage and faded" look with warm tones and faded blue... overexposing even more just burns out the lights but doesn't change the color much more.

In short: What you want is about 3 stops of overexposure with whatever film you like and can get cheaply, but feel free to experiment.
