Bessler 45 MXT/Ilford 500H head

I just bought an Ilford 500H second generation from ebay and have now discovered that the
light box's coming with will not fit my Bessler. It seems I need a 2 pc. box. I believe George
posted a picture not long ago. So what I'm looking for is light box for 4x5.
If anyone has one they would like to sell I'm a buyer or if you know where I might find one
I would appreciate knowing. If it helps I live in Alberta Canada.

Latif,

There is an MG500 adapter kit for the Beseler 23 on the auction site....not sure if it'll fit your enlarger.

The 5x4 mixingboxes for the MG500 head are hard to find, but once you've seen one, it would not be hard to fabricate your own if you can get the plexiglass diffuser.

I recently put a cold head on my bessler 45 mxII. I think I have the adapter you are looking for. I'll send pictures over monday or tuesday. Is that ok?

yes I would be very happy to recieve a picture. When you say adapter are you speaking about the 4x5 light box for enlarger.

I believe so, I've only ever used a condenser head or cold head. I think this is the adaptor for a 45s color head. I didn't do anything but pull it off and set it to the side.

AWS_ATL I'm not sure what you have there. Not an Ilford mixing box. Looks like the bottom of a Beseler dicho head with a homemade addition. It might work but not sure how well.

No that is what I have coming. The one I need for the Bessler 45 I have is a two part box. Somewhere on a previous thread George from Nova Scotia posted a picture. I'll see if I can find it.

Sorry, recently moved and everything is still in boxes...I think I found the one with my 4x5 mixing box (it's either 2 or three parts if I recall) in it. Will know for sure in the morning and will draw it up in cad (designing the new darkroom as well...woot!) with pics.
