That works out at £1563 / $2213 (US) still quite expensive, but less than double the current going rate for a good original/comparable Bessa.

Mainline have never sold anything cheaply, to my knowledge.

That said, for our international members I have calculated the price of this camera tax free. It is $2,954.55 Australian Dollars. This will give a benchmark pricing for some people.

I will be very interested in what it sells for in the USA as the direct conversion as of about 5 minutes ago to the US dollar was $2,042.67.

This is sort of suggesting a price of around the $2,000.00 US dollar mark, without any taxes.

That isn't too bad, all things considered.
