Timely review, I received one of these cameras two days ago and agree very much with that review.

I would also state that this is the quietest camera I have ever heard. Actually the first time I pressed the shutter, I too wasn't sure whether or not the shutter had fired.

By the way, I don't own the camera, I only have it for two weeks as it travels around Australia.

I have run 7 rolls through, developed 5, printed 2 so far. This coming weekend is looking very good for maxing out with the Bessa III.

The results are more than excellent.

One interesting aspect I noted was the aperture opening. I checked the aperture for when it was at it's closest to being a perfect circle, this happens at f5.6 with just slightly out of a near circle at f4 and a half and also at f5.6 and a half.

It is for sure a very nice uncomplicated camera with serious capability in a reasonably small package. The camera I have at the moment, serial number 250, weighs 1,016 grams with the battery fitted and 1,038 grams with a film loaded according to my Dr Oetker kitchen scales from Germany.

Mick.
