Beseler RA-4AT old?

What color should the mixed developer and blix be? I made up a small kit and they both look like a dark red wine. Paper processed was a dull mustard yellow. I'm new to this so I'm not even sure if I exposed the correct side of the paper but I think I did. There was the vague indication of an image.

Developer should be about like weak tea.

Blix should be like burgundy wine.
