Hi,

I just picked up a used Digi-Timer and I cannot seem to get it to work. Now I know that these timers have a habit of malfunctioning on the Print button, but I was wondering if I was doing something wrong before I take it apart to see if I can fix it. Therefore I am looking for a manual (PDF is obviously acceptable) or to see if I am doing the process right.
What I do is I turn the timer on via the side switch, then I set the time multiplier via the Off/X1/X10 switch, then set the time via the Up/Down buttons and finally click on the Print button.
I would assume this would start the counter downward, but this is not happening. Am I doing something wrong or is the timer shot?

I have one and it sounds like you are using the right steps. Couple of possible checks. Does the displayed time change when you go from X1 to X10? Does the timer not work on both X1 and X10? Does the focus work OK with lamp on? Probably you have a bad print switch. I don't think I have a manual but I'll check.

Sorry it took so long to come back. I tested the device further and the time changes between x1 and x10. The focus works and turns the light on and off when I press it. The print button does not work in either x1 and x10. I think the problem is the print switch.
