Beseler 57MB Negative carrier size

I have a Beseler 57MB enlarger that I've had since around 1992. I have never had a proper negative carrier for it. IRight now I'm using a Zone VI 5x7 carrier. It fits but barely.

Does anyone have a 57MN negative carrier that you can measure the outside dimensions and post a photo of one? Tracking down these negativer carriers is not easy so I may just make my own.

I use carriers for the Besler 4x5 enlarger. There is an adapter that came with the enlarger when I bought it used in the early '90s. When I get home from vacation I can get some photos of it and some measurements if hou would like.

Alrighty. Here is a quick pic of my holder.



This is my Beseler 57MB 4x5 hinged, anti-newton glass carrier. Model 3343.

It measures just a hair under 8.25" (21cm). The hinge is 5/8" (16mm) up from the back edge of the circle. The plate from which the holder is made is roughly 1/16" (1.5mm) thick.

Is the silver adapter a Beseler product or was it made by a third party?

Is the silver adapter 8.25" square or is the 8.25" the size of the 3343 carrier?
