I have a 45MX and a 23CIII-XL (which I doubt is that different) AND I have both instruction manuals (11 pages and 17 pages). How dismantled are they, if at all? Would pictures of mine help at all?
I was very fortunate to get alot of equipment from a very wonderful lady. But it's all in pieces and I'm looking for some help on how to set up the 3 enlarger I was giving. I'm trying to take inventory of what I have so I can find out what I'm missing. All my analog knowledge was from high school (13 years ago) and college (6years ago) and I've never had to set these up. Any info. Books or anything like that would be much appreciated and helpful.
This is the best free source this site has most of the Beseler stuff and others tooI was very fortunate to get alot of equipment from a very wonderful lady. Unless you've seen posts from them elsewhere, they haven't posted back since last Wed. The pictures above are of my enlargers in case pictures will help them figure out how to put them together.Looks like good stuff. You've gotten it put together. What else do you want to know?

I've only ever done 35mm, 4x5 is a completely new thing to me.Negative carriers are relatively easy to find. If you only want to print 35mm and 120, then the 23CII is a great enlarger. If you want to do 4x5, you may be able to find a way to make a frame for the 45MX. There's always a chance of finding a frame without an enlarger or one with a non-working enlarger.
LOL - that's what I said before someone gave me my Beseler 45MX and I spent more time on Apug/Photrio. I don't think I have any extra 35mm carriers, but that may be the easiest one to find. Good luck!I've only ever done 35mm, 4x5 is a completely new thing to me.
Excellent!Update the wonderful person who gave me all of the equipment found the frame for both the Dichro Colorhead and the 45. So I should be in buisness now
