I've started a web page that lists all the Beseler 45/CB7 negative carriers that have been made. Beseler doesn't have this info any longer. Please take a look at the list and let me know if I've missed any carriers.

Thanks!

They also no longer have info on the 57MB 5x7 Motorized enlarger. If you are going for operable/obsolete, that is.

Thanks! I know that as I have & use a 57MB. I'm using 4x5 carriers with my 57MB - thus the interest in the 45 carriers. It's a project that's on my list .

I only have the 4x5 carrier made for the 57MB. Do the 45 carries fit into the holder on the 57MB? Not to hijack the thread. Sorry.

In addition to some of the ones on the list, my collection includes the two Negatrans carriers for 35mm and 120.

If it is of interest, I have measured the aperture sizes on those holders that I have:

8302: 1.49 x 0.97
8304: 1.37x 0.93
8305: 1.62 x 1.62
8312: 2.10 x 2.10
8322 and 8341: 3.615x4.620

I have what I think is a 16mm carrier, the number on it is H 16 N. I also have what I think maybe an adapter to adapt 45 carriers to the 5X7 enlarger. It is one piece which a 45 casrrier will mate with and on the bottom side there are two pieces which look like they would fit into a 5X7 enlarger. Bill Barber

This is what I have. Ebay # 151146519289. Can some confirm that it is designed to adapt Omega D carriers to be used with Beseler 45 enlargers? Bill Barber

No they do not fit. An adapter is needed. What is not clear to me is if Beseler made one or if the adapters are 3rd party devices.

Thanks! All data is welcomed!

It worked today, but I have an addition and correction -- and this is very helpful info.

In the 2nd Gen column the designation for the 35mm half-frame is #35NH.

In the 3rd Gen column the size of the 16mm image should be 10x14mm.

Someone is selling a Beseler 45 carrier on EBAY with a size of 7x10mm -- which I assume is Minox (8X11mm) -- and they claim it is marked #8103 -- NOT #8300, and not #103B. So who knows!?!?!?
