Free to a good home, I need the space. Beseler 23C with dual dichro color head and power supply. Working condition but will need a cleaning. Extra condenser. 80 & 50mm lenses and boards, negative carriers, contrast filters. Take it all.

No shipping. Must pick up on Cape Cod (Wellfleet), MA.

My wife is heading to the Cape in a couple of weeks. She says that my 7 enlargers is enough

Hi Jim, JL from Orleans (as in Remington typewriter!), here. I could use the color head..!
Edit: I mean the whole. My carriers I use on the older model are homemade, fussy to use..

You're there! I had 6x9 color negative film developed and printed at the Orleans camera shop. That was close to 20 years ago.

Still there. I drop my occasional color 135 film (for development, and only format they process now, I think) at the place. Lots of large format printing for their customers, operates as a mini gallery as well, used gear for sale. Pleasant folks.

i still us

Before moving a decade ago I tried to give away an enlarger.
Finally I listed it free for pickup on Craigslist.
A woman called me and asked me to deliver it - also for free!

The Beseler 23C is wonderful.
We had a bunch of them in school.
I'd insist someone take the entire setup.
Shouldn't take long.
Good luck.

Chris

try your local college or university -- the institution won't want it but there may be film students who will.

This is a complete enlarger for b&w and colour and will serve years longer doing great photography.

I loved my first 23c II, it gave absolutely beautiful Cibachromes from 35mm Ektachromes, in the early 1980's, and if they still made those materials, I'd be using them still.

IMO.

I've given away half a dozen of these in various configurations and still have one left to dispose of. I advertise then for sale at a certain price, then when the unsuspecting rube shows up to pay for it I don't take the money. I figure they're about to spend more than they reckoned on getting started, the rabbit hole is deep.

Any tips on transporting such a machine?
Asking for a friend with a minivan...

I mean, should there be a need to stuff some material to make sure there is no movement with head internals, like lenses, heat shield, if present?
