Beseler 23C AN carrier advice

I shoot 35 and 645 and have the 35 and 645 glassless carriers for my 23CII.

Suppose I wanted to consider using a AN carrier(s), it seems I have only 2 options:
1) buy the 6x9 AN carrier $200 and create my own 35 and 645 masks
2) buy the 6x9 AN carrier for $200 and create a 645 mask and buy the 35 AN carrier for $230

Obviously option 1 looks better financially, that what all you multi format 23C folks w AN carriers do?

Having a hard time figuring out why I wd want both.

How do you get masks made? I tried to make a mask once and it turned out horrible.

Have someone CNC cut them, whichever way you wish to go.

You can make a mask out of an unprocessed piece of 120 film, or maybe 4x5. Then just lay it over the film frame.
