Beseler 23 Lensboard Ring

Ok, I've got an interesting problem.

I have a nice Carl Zeiss Jena Tessar 50mm lens to us and an enlarger lens. It has an M42 to enlarger adapter, but I don't have the Ring to mount it to the lensboard. Where could I find such a Ring???

There are lots of retaining rings on eBay; search to see if one in the size you need is available, or a flange. If not, a fine-mechanic like Steve Grimes company can make one for you custom.

In the meantime, some have used Masonite or similar with a slightly smaller hole than the threads and force-threaded it onto the lens threads as a temporary retaining ring. Hot glue works too and is easily removable I'm told (no personal experience).

Thanks! I ordered one of his rings to let me use L39 enlarging lenses on my M42 bellows.
