I wondered if anyone has experience with this product and could tell me how it compares with the Kodak Rapid Selenium Toner. My local camera store has started carrying it, and I have no idea how close to KRST it is.
Thanks for any help.
I've used it. I get more neutral results with it than with the KRST, especially when toning neutral tone papers to completion. It's cheap, and if you're not looking for that certain hint-of-purple that KRST gives you then it's good stuff.
I use both depending on the image. I think it's cheap enough to buy a bottle to try out...the worst thing you'll get is images that are protected.
i don't realy like the berg stuff. it seems like more of a die that an actual toner. but if you us it keep some exhausted fixer on hand for some neat effects. I have used the blue/yellow/and sepia but like the results of Kodak better.
If you use it try to keep it warm for fast results(just like toners)
