It was a good video Andy. I debated to get some of this stuff myself for some old films I have, but then decided against it, since I mainly scan all my films today. And that can be fixed in Photoshop.
I was able to save some very expired film!
You have to watch how much potassium iodide and Benzo you use since to much of a good thing can retard development to nothing. I found this out with some fogged paper I tried to save with Benzotriazole.Well done as always, Andy.
I wonder how using Potassium Bromide as a fog restrainer would compare. I think Potassium Iodide can also be used but I'm not sure either have the same action as Benzotriazole.

Yes, and like I said, it's one of those chemicals we use where "more" is not always better. Still, it's a miracle drug when used wisely.its remarkable how little of it is needed to make a huge difference as a restrainer. the small bottle ive got will last a lifetime.
