Anyone have one? Know what they are? Current value?

What would you do with half frame 3x4.5 images?


I've done the basic research, and know that they were made by Bencini in Italy around the 50's and early 60's. I know that they have only a few shutter speeds and apertures, and that they only take half frame photos. But I'm looking for personal experiences and likes/dislikes etc.

I have had two but not used them. 127 film is expensive and these cameras are very crudely designed and made.

i had 2 bencini's beautiful cameras, probably the coolest cameras i have ever owned and used...
if i had armloads of 127 film stlll ( or was interested in 127 film ) ...>>> i'd get a comet

I have a Bencini Koroll II but it loads a 120 film, used half frame (24 shots)
