One is the lightweight Trekker model for all day backpacking photography and the other the heavy-duty model 1. They are unique and well-made, super adjustable and sturdy tripods. They are designed for the professional nature photographer.
Both do not come with tripod heads.
Bogen makes several fine quick release tripod head models for reasonable prices. A good choice are either the Manfrotto Bogen 3265 or Manfrotto Bogen 3262QR. They can be found used and in good condition on eBay from time to time for about $50.
