The bellows on my toyo/omega 45f is all but shot. A new bellows from toyo costs about $350 which makes it more economical to just toss the whole perfectly good camera in the garbage and buy a used one with a decent bellows.
I'm just wondering if anyone has a better solution. Sources for used bellows? Cameras?

I believe Camera Bellows in england can make a bellows for much less than the factory one. I was going to have my 45E bellows done and they quoted $160-$170 I believe.

How much is a new bellows from Camera Bellows UK or Western Bellows or the one in Rochester? My 11x14" bellows from Camera Bellows UK was about that much plus shipping, so I'd imagine a 4x5" bellows would be less.

The last bellows I bought for a 8X10 Deardorff from Western Bellows was $300. You might check with them. Maybe a 4X5 would be less. Their workmanship is very good.

Neal,

I have a really nice 45E that you can buy for $150.00 and all of your other stuff would fit it.

Dave

PS, the bellows are prefect!

Dave,

As I remember, the 45E is almost identical to the 45F except that it lacks an interchangable bellows? Will it take my rotating graflock back? I shoot a lot of rollfilm in my view.
