Bellows Care?

Is there any regular maintenance that should be done to protect the leather bellows on old German folders? I use a 1948 Zeiss as an every-day shooter. It's in great shape, but that leather is 65 years old and must need something to stay that way.

I use Woly Sport Wax Active http://tinyurl.com/7kttlp7 on the bellows leather of my Zeisses and Voigtländers, once every few years, depending on climate etc.

In the nineteenth century they used to use melted bees wax on leather bellows.
