beginner with c-41

Welcome everyone
I have some questions about unicolor kit ,i bought from freestylephoto for developing my own b&w film c-41
1/Do you advise me to use this product (kodak photo flo ) with unicolor kit ? and When I use it (after developing or washing or blix or .......)

he Put a Little drops from photoflo after washing ..! , is this right
in Instruction Sheet says after the stabilizer Let film dry and this guy wash film after stabilizer and put a photoflo !!

2/Can I use the Chemicals every day ? Or not Use it for a whole month ? Is this could damage the Chemicals ?

3/ can i shot 6 image like example and cut the film and developing ? (Because I dont want to lose whole film with testing)

First, this is the B&W subforum, you probably want the color subforum...

1) You do NOT need Photoflo with the Unicolor kit. The stabilizer already contains a wetting agent. Do NOT wash the film after the stabilizer, it is the LAST step. If you think the wetting agent is losing its ability you could add a few drops of Photoflo to the stabilizer but it probably isn't necessary.

2) You can use it every day or not use it for a month. I mixed a kit in January and I'm still using it, 24 rolls done so far. Sometimes I go a few weeks without using it, I just keep it in a cold cellar.

3) You can use as little film as you like for testing. Since you reuse the Unicolor kit it doesn't matter how little film you process, you aren't wasting the chemicals.

24 rolls for 1 liter kit or 2 liter ?

the Capacity for 1 liter is 8-10 rolls 35mm and 16-18 for 2 liter kit

and , after 24 rolls Are the results good ?

You`re welcome. 24 rolls from a 1 litre kit! The advertised capacity is 8-12 rolls with 12 already being 150% capacity so I guess I`m at 300% of capacity! It still looks great to my eye, printed with RA-4 or scanned. I clip test before every roll and only develop one roll at a time now in case it dies, which I`m sure it will soon. I have 5 more 1L kits waiting to be used but so far I`m still on my first one.

do you recommend using distilled water? With mixing (dev and blix a ,blix b and stabilizer?)

Because the water in our village is not clean enough , Is this necessary?

I don't use distilled water but our drinking water is fine aside from being hard; we use a water softener but I find the softened water works alright.

I don't know what your water is like so it is hard to say if distilled water would work better. It isn't necessary though.
