A portable process camera, not something you see every day. And I'll be damned - the camera was made in Cleveland Ohio by Addresograph-Multigraph (locally known as Addresogrief - Cleveland is famous for it's badly managed companies).

And he's doing 20x24 wet plate photography on black glass plates. Now that takes some stamina.
