I bought this lovely lens just over a year ago but quickly found that the mechanical design isn't fully compatible with all of my Canon LTM bodies. It fits fine on my Canon P and Canon 7, but not on my L2, on which the back of the lens' focusing assembly interferes with the body's upper light baffle, preventing the lens from being screwed in all the way. Since the L2 is my favorite body of the three and in the past year I haven't felt the need for anything wider than 35mm it's time to find this guy a new home.
The lens is in excellent condition, clean and clear with no signs of fungus or marks I can see. The focus control and aperture ring operate smoothly with gentle clicks on the latter. The lens takes 43mm filters and a 45mm push-on cap (or a 43mm snap-in, obviously). There's no infinity lock. This lens is quite small, protruding just under 3/4" when mounted on a camera, and weighs 97 grams (3.5 oz). I don't have a front cap but will include a generic metal rear cap. The negatives on my short test roll were fine (when examined with a 10x loupe) if not memorable - it's hard to expect much from images of my regular test subjects (trees near and far in the yard, my car in the driveway, and the brick house 200 feet away across the street, on which every brick could be resolved).
Avenon lenses were manufactured by YK Optical and were sold under several names including Kobalux, Avenar, Bower, and Pasoptik according to the interwebs.
