I'm eyeing a long lens here, and was thinking of buying a filter/filter adapter in advance:

But my chatbot told me the lens requires a Hasselblad Bay77 size filter. I couldn't find any in existence on eBay. Is my chatbot wrong, or are such filter sizes exceedingly rare?

On another note, I couldn't find a section for Hasselblad lenses on Igor's site, just the bodies with included lenses. Let me know if I missed something obvious. Thanks!

Check the nomenclature. I think B77 is really the same as Bayonet 70. The latter are rarish but available.

Yes B70 is the size that you probably will need. Look for used B+W and Hasselblad filters to start otherwise you will need step up adapters.

I have a Planar T* 2/110 F with data bus which has the same filter setup. I use a fotodiox Bay70 to 72. There is also a Bay 70 to 78.
The 72 might be an issue if one stacked filters with the wide angle CFi FLE f/4 50 mm Distagon, but it has never been an issue for me.

No it is obviously an F-lens, not an FE as advertised.

The Filter size is B70. I had the luck of buying some for very little money many years ago. They are very rare.
