Hi guys,

My second niece is almost born and I would like to use my instax again.
Problem is, my instax is a instax mini 10. There was a problem some months ago that I think that I resolved by removing a piece of black tape that was getting on the photos way.
Problem now is that I want to test it again to start using and this camera uses some "crappy" batteries - the CR123A - two of them. Why crappy? 3 packs on the camera and the batteries started failing and they are expensive! Like 5€ each. Is there a way to have the same voltage in a cheaper way even if it meant, modifiying the camera?

Thank you

I too have found the CR123A batteries to be rather expensive, even if they last quite a while.

So, one has to decide how often they are going to be used. If regularly, do like I did and order some rechargeable batteries and charger. (I bought mine on ebay.co.uk) Surprisingly after looking around, they didn't cost much more than a new set of (full price) batteries!

On the other hand if you only going to use them once in a blue moon, you might just be better off buying another set of ordinary batteries, which again, if you look about vary in price an awful lot and can be had quite cheaply compared to eg a photo shops price.

Only you can make the choice Dinis.
