Battery Cover

Will battery cover from an another camera fit in my Olympus OM?

Thinking to build an external battery pack for OM-2sp following instructions from Rick Oleson.

The OM-2SP will accept the covers from the OM-3 and -4.
They are about the same chassis.
Not sure if other models will fit, but the battery and motor driver covers on the models above are interchangeable.
