Need a mint to new base plate for my Canon AE-1. Have a mint to New camera that someone has defaced the base plate with their drivers license number. This the original AE-1, as opposed to the AE-1 Program.

I believe I have a ae-1 body in great shape that needs a cla. I'll check tomorrow how the baseplate looks as it's in my locker at work. If it is I'd be willing to trade baseplates with you, as I don't need a perfect example and would most likely use a winder anyhow.

Can't you buy the whole camera on Ebay for next to nothing.?
Seems like somebody with a plate for sale would need to charge almost as much as an entire AE-1 to even make it worthwhile.
