I registered here about a little over four years ago. Things were going slow for me at that time and I was working on getting back with photography after a good 20 years.

From what I can remember I was experimenting with Ultrafine films, Pyrocat HD and Rodinal, trying to scan in samples of test prints and had an interesting dilemma with wavy lines in film. I wasn’t around that long.

At the start of 2020 the goal was working toward getting a small print display in a local coffee shop. That is until Covid hit and then things went downhill, fast. So much was changing; so many things that didn’t have to go in the direction that they did. I had separated myself not only from the forum but from a few other places and from people in general.

I had to get rid of a good deal of materials because they went stale but all of the film and paper remained in cold storage to this day. Recently I checked over my enlarger and camera equipment and will soon be retesting everything.

It feels good being back here. Just have to figure out how to relax a few things with myself. I’m hoping I can be of some benefit here.

Welcome back! Photography always lets us back in, even when we've walked away from it for a while. It's like an old friend that's always there for you...
