A 'heads up' to those on North American/Canadian cable or satellite for a TV programme on Yousuf Karsh's portraiture is scheduled for the "BRAVO" Channel this coming Sunday evening.

Hi Dan...

The 'promo' for the upcoming Karsh program was during a program that was being shown last night... I was in the middle of something other than watching, but I could could still hear the audio 'tho not rush off to 'verify visually'... I had to continue with my homework. To-night I shall have the audio at a level I can 'monitor' for a repeat of the promo and get back to the forum 'QLAB'.

End of third quarter. Wish I had read this sooner. Would have recorded it. Did not realize that Bravo runs some photography shows. Tues AM there's one show at 7AM and another at 7:30. Interesting.

I caught about 15 minutes amongst all the other stuff on the go yesterday (and that did not actually involve any football watching). It looked quite good. I will likely try to watch the whole thing if I come across it again.

A little note in the show said he donated some 350,000 negatives and prints to the National Archives of Canada. Sounds like just the keepers

It was excellent. I have it recorded on our PVR, and intend to watch it again.

Our listings indicate that Bravo Canada is re-broadcasting it between 4-5 pm next Saturday (2011/02/12), followed by 5-6 am next Sunday.
