I was wondering if lustre paper is suitable for scanning? Will the texture show up while the light passes over the image?

Which paper type gives the best quality scan?

I find that ferrotyped glossy prints scan best. Any print scans well but, yes, you will see any texture in the paper.

Has anybody here tried wet scanning a textured paper? I have a theory that it may work well. The only thing is I guess some fiber papers may expand a bit when wet.
