I was wondering if you guys know where in Europe I can order a bunch of black and white film one-use disposable cameras.

Ilford used to sell them. Not sure if they do now though.

I wonder why most people refer to them as disposable. You don't actually dispose of them do you?!!!

Steve.

On a sidenote, anybody know how to crack one of these cameras open, and get to the film?

Usually you take it out of its cardboard packing then undo the release tabs on either side with a fingernail or flat blade screwdriver.

Be careful with cameras that have a flash. You might just touch the leads of a charged capacitor and get a bit of a buzz.

They're loaded "Backwards" in other words the film is supplied fully out of the cannister, then wound back as its exposed.

Some of these like the Kodak ones have small tabs under the label, others in the cardboard sleeve are sometimes held together with hotmelt glue and electricians tape.
(The Kodak type are more "recyclable" than some of the really cheapo disposibles)

Can you re-use them?

Sort of. The 35mm cartridges are slightly different in that the inside of the reel tends to be ridged to hook up with the winder mechanism, so a standard cartridge bought off the shelf may not fit

Maco has some Ari.

Σε ευχαριστώ Ανώνυμε.
I decided to chose Ag Photographic instead as I am also going to order some other stuff and I have been a satisfied customer of them before, not to mention that I like their prices (but in this case, there is no difference).

You might also buy a bunch of those "35mm focus free cameras", they are dirt cheap and often have a slightly better lens and flashlight than disposable cameras. Just load an even cheaper b/w film. And you can even use them more than once

Ari, this is a bit strange. You ask for a certain product. And when hinted at the only manufacturer of such you reply you rather buy at a certain dealer of your choice. Who does not offer those products though...

There is nothing strange about it.
I asked in APUG but at the same time made my own research because time is of great essence. Since Anon Ymous was the only one who provided some assistance in this thread, I made a wise choice to investigate myself all my options.
The price I found on the Maco store was similar that Ag quoted me through communication by email. They have some in stock but don't list them on line for some reason. At the same time, I am in need of some more material, film and paper that I would rather get from Ag because of their excellent prices and my previous good experience with them. So, to save on shipping, since its flat rate up to 25kg, I chose to make the order from one store.
Are you implying that I somehow offended someone, either Anon Ymous or the German store, by not following the direct suggestion?

Matt at Ag often gets stuff in and doesn't necessarily get it onto the website straight away, as he tends to be more busy stuffing things into boxes to catch the post.
I can't comment on postal charges as I've never paid them. He's only a few miles away, so if I needs stuff quick, I just drive over with a list and pick it up off the shelf

Quite an aladdins cave if you ever get the opportunity to go there
