B&W film problem

Hi there
recently i bought new steel developer tank & film reel and using it to develop 2 rolls of fomapan 200
both of negative, in certain part turn into like these.
im using chemical developer Champion Suprol and develop time for 5 minute and fixer (amfix) for 3 minute ..

It looks as though portions have not been fixed. The patterns suggest the film was not properly loaded in the reel and some areas of emulsion were contacting the back of the next layer. You could try fixing the film again and see if the milky stuff goes away. I fear if I am correct about the layers contacting, the blotches will show as a lack of image in those areas.

A re-fix will at least provide further information as to what happened.

Practice a couple times with scrap film in the daylight before trying again.

The film jumped a track when you were loading.

When this happens you’ll hear and feel the crinkling.

Whenever you are loading film and hear that sound… stop and unwind what you loaded and give it another start.

It can happen when you get a crooked start.

So you are making the same mistake twice. This is a case of the film not being wound onto the reel properly and if you haven't cut the film into strips yet just keep it as it is and use it to practice loading in both in daylight and in your changing bag/darkroom. And if you have cut it up consider buying the cheapest roll of film you can get and use that to practice with.

i re-fix and the marks gone , but the visual part also wash out ...

well i jump to conclusion, the film not properly load onto reel .. i can confirm it when i reload back the negative .. the tail part was outfrom the reel .. i didnt cut it, just let it be.
so anyway thanks again .. it solved

Yes, that makes sense. The image was not developed in that part of the film. The film simply wasn't processed at all in the affected area.

This roll might be good to practice with. Load the reel several times watching how things go, then practice more with your eyes closed.
As mentioned, if the reel has even the slightest bend, it will cause loading problems.
Another trick is to make sure you have the same number of open wires on each side of the film when you get to the end of the roll, (or while you’re loading if you hear some crinkling). If you don’t get the same number, it means one side is doubled up.

I’ve had a lot of trouble with portions touching, too (often err in which direction the reel‘s metal coils roll unroll) but no matter, as I keep loading, I’ll regularly stop to feel the concentricity of the loaded film with my forefinger and thumb to ensure it is round. If I feel the slightest hump I’ll unroll some and redo it. I find even now I’m re-rolling portions every time. Can’t have raised bumps or areas, must be concentric. Using your stomach as the base against which to rest and spin the reel as you roll helps but still takes me longer than not to load reels from all the “correcting.”
