I would like some opinions on scanning qualities and film grain and film type. My personal experience is that Tri-X seems to give the best scans over all, generally crisp and sharp. However, finer grain films such as Agfa 25, Ilford Pan F Plus seem to not scan as well.

Does grain size effect the way the scanner reads the film, the larger the grain, the better the scan? Any opinions?
