Dear users,
I'm currently using this developer and fixer for my B&W film.
(My B&W film is Lucky SHD100 and Kodak Tmax 100)
My method is:
(water wash --> Develop --> water wash --> fixer --> water wash --> drying)
I can not buy stop bath, coz in Medan, indonesia, do not got any supply.
Is it got any better result with stop bath or my current method is sufficient enough?
Is there anybody had using this developer and fixer?

I know it can be difficult to find all the chemicals you would like to use. But stop bath is easy to substitute vinegar, I am not sure of the mixture to use. But, be patient an APUG family member will soon provide us with the answer. I usually have a gallon of vinegar at home for cleaning, and cooking but I still buy Kodak indicator stop bath, just a habit after all these years, and this week I picked up some free Photo. Chemicals from someone on Craigslist.
So, now I will have enough for stop bath for the next five years.

Dear anton_chang,

The main reason you would need stop bath is to extend the life of an acid fixer.

Hi neighbour!

Vinegar ("cuka" in bahasa indonesia) is suitable as stop bath. We've used that here for ages as a stopbath substitute. 1 cup of cane vinegar (most common type here, so I suppose that's what you have there too) to 4 cups water will make for a stop bath which you can reuse several times.

Pak anton, tidak perlu stop bath. Guna air paip sahaja. Saya buat demikian tiada masalah selama ini. Just water stop bath 2 minutes then terus fix.

Jika hendak gunakan stop bath juga, bole gunakan household white vinegar. Tidak pasti dilution nya, mungkin 1:4. Tapi saya rasa tidak perlu.

Well, thanks everybody for the advice.
I'll try the vinegar first, for add up experiences.

I was in Malang 6 years ago for about half a year. The photo store at Alun Alun, directly opposite from Ramayana Dept. Store used to sell this stuff. Give it a try if you are in Malang. The store still existed last year when I was there.

Best regards
Vassilis
