B&W chemistry from Silberra !

Hallo everybody,
does anybody made experience with
chems from russian manufacturer
SILBERRA?


For example "Silberra Classic MG"



For example "Pyro-Hd"



For example "Microl"

And what is your thinking about a complete new line on B&W Chemicals.

Is there a need to these products ?

It is always in regards of pricing, some may say - but friends - I have a feeling that this russian cloned chems would possible not be the most expensive stuff we ever saw ...!

Probably no "need" for the chemistry but I'd look at whatever they offer.

The films look interesting though. Continuous tone ortho films in sheets and several new pan films in 35mm and 120. That's good news.

Who makes the chemicals, what makes them different from Ilford, Tetenal, Kodak etc and what is the price and availabitlity?

Well - from statements of Silberra they are " hand-made " in russia ! What ever that means. It must not mean it is scratch ! But if you mentioned Ilford and Tetenal it will be with much suspense to see if Tetenal and/or Ilford probably will produce it.
Because " hand - made " isn´t the best choice on mass production ......

Thats indeed also my oppinion. First regarding the pricing - second have a short try. Foma chems shouln´t also not be bad. I remember a small batch of paper fixer - it works good ( wy should fixer not work ... ) but it costs me just a couple of cent ( under 1 $ ).
