Hello everyone,

I have the usual set of B&W chemicals, dev. stop. fix. hypo. etc.
I haven't touched them for a while. Maybe about a year or so.
They were in my bathroom most of the time, under the sink.
None of them are stored diluted. just pure chemicals.

Is it safe to use them now?
Is there a way to check if it's still good?

Yes, should be good.

Concentrates usually last and last and last.

I've had one or two suddenly die after lasing a long time (I guess the preservative ran out).

Out of your list it's the developer that's more volatile for going off, but most concentrates are pretty good lasting for that long, some exceptions though.

Hello;
I follow the manufacturers recommendations. D-76, D76r every six months. Kodak powder fixer every two months. Dektol I mixup fresh before printing. The chemicals I use are cheap and why risk your valuable film to unknown variables. Good luck, Steven.
