Hello!

I'm an analog shooter, but i'm trying to experiment the "hybrid" process. Hi have an epson 4990 scanner, bought some better scanning holder, a moderate monitor and i'm ready to go. Scanning is not an issue for me, scanning right is an issue. First what settings should i use for optimum results, then do i use the histogram and slide the black, white and middle points to the beginning and end of the histogram to cover the range and scan a fairly dull image and process after on a photo editor. For 120 medium format film should i scan the film in TIFF with a 4800 and the resize down to 2400dpi on a photo editor...What is the best work method to have good quality scans...or if you have some links to where i can search..i'll be much appreciated!

Thank you in advance
