Well, the glass needs cleaned but the shutter fires. Slow speeds are clearly fast.

$35 shipped (us).

Can I ask a few questions on this sale thread?

Ok.. thanks...

I have a very similar shutter/lens setup, only mine doesn't say 4x5" and has no focal-length marking. Also, the shutter is marked Bausch & Lomb and is substantially different (though they share a resemblance). My shutter goes to 3", which is astonishing, and even in it's old age it does a decent job with the speeds. I guess my question is, what are these shutters called and how do they work? I assume they're similar in operation; almost pneumatic?

thnx!
