Azo Show Moves to Louisville, KY

The show: Azo -> Contact -> Print. An Exhibit of Large Format Contact Prints moves to the Paul Paletti Gallery in Louisville, KY this weekend. If you missed it at the Metropolitan Center for the Visual Arts in Maryland, here's your chance to join us again. Several of the photographers will be present at the opening this friday night, March 3rd (I believe it's from 6 to 9 pm). Address is below.

This show features over 50 Large Format Azo contact prints from Joe Freeman, Scott Killian, George Provost, Jim Shanesy and Steve Sherman. The show was featured in the Jan/Feb issue of View Camera Magazine, although the reproductions in no way reflect the quality of the work (the scans were terrible).

Special thanks to those of you who came to the previous opening or sent words of encouragement. In the meantime, we look forward to meeting APUG members who can make the trip to Louisville.

How long will the show be there? Maybe I could hitch a ride with someone.

Thanks for announcing the show, Scott.

After talking with Paul Paletti, he said the show will be up for March, April, and maybe May.

Also, on the Thursday before the opening, there is a very fine group of photographers who meet regularly with Paletti. Scott, Jim, and I will be there to take part in general conversation, answering questions, and.. carrying on.
Please, try to make it out, all are welcome.

Other than looking at some really incredibly seen photographs, I definitely recommend anyone who is interested in different processes and the results they yield to come; especially if you've been following all the discussion on semi stand development.
You'll be able to see and compare incredible prints from negatives developed in trays, in tubes and by semi stand.

Sure wish I could be with you guys at the opening, sounds like it's going to be allot of fun.

Meantime, I'm trying my best to secure a space for the show to be shown here in Connecticut once the show ends at Paul's gallery.
