Shipping on that is going to be a killer. Unless you can pick it up in place. So, this one's for Amund. :D

They've got a lot of other good Ilford stuff, most of it here in Norway. I may get a lifetime supply of paper...

Do we have enough Norwegians to share it? I'm in Oslo ...

I believe we do - even if I mostly use my own homemade fixer, I could sure use some of this!

The warehouse is near Lillestrøm, if anyone wants to know (to arrange pickup of a pallet of fixer?).

Dear All,

Whilst this product would appear to be in Norway, the only liquidation in the area I can recall ( which would have that kind of volume ) was when Ludvigsen our distributor in Norway failed in 2003...so hardly 18 months old...in saying that the chemistry would probably be OK, I would not touch
film or paper unless it had been refrigerated...which I doubt, although Norway can be a bit nippy at times.....

I've bought some of there SFX 120, and while it's lost a bit of the IR effect, the film seems fine. The film went out of date in Spring of 2004.

They have a bunch of HP5 70mm I'd buy in a heart-beat if it was perforated.

Ole - how many 5 litre bottles can you fit in your Saab? I'd be part of a joint bid & figure out how to get it back to the UK later.

"How many 5 litre bottles will fit in the back of a SAAB" depends on what else has to fit in there too. Like four or five cameras, a suitcase full of lenses, clothes for the weekend/week or whatever, wife's luggage, ...

Oh - I'm sure I can squeeze in at least ten.

...it says Indian Head, MD, United States

It says in bold type that it will ship from Norway.

Hmm, I really have no room for that much fixer. If Bernt picks up 10 bottles, there`s still 80 left. And Amidol doesn`t like anything but plain hypo fixer..
I`ll pass.

Has anybody got room for it? Preferrably someone on the east side of the mountains?

I have a suggestion:

Amund and Ole, if you take 30 each, I am ready for the last 30. I live at Nesodden, and I have space for storing say 60. I guess I can take care of Oles share (30?) in addition to my own. Amund, are you ready to collect your 30 with your own car?

This is interesting to me if I win the auction without paying a lot.

What do you think?

Sure, I think I can manage to find room for 30 bottles in the darkroom I`m using. Years of fixer practically for free is hard to say no to.

I can also join in. I can collect the goods and we can take it from there.
