no access to this website in Germany!?
Same here (France). Oh well, we already had the US-only Classifieds. I can live without either of these (video or ads).no access to this website in Germany!?
When I was in business back in the 1980's, I had a big poster of Nastassja Kinski and the Serpent photographed by Avedon on my wall behind my desk. Times were different then. I used to love when people would come visit me, sit in front of my desk and have discussions or negotiate with me about this and that. Very distracting for them. Their eyes kept drifting upwards over my head to the poster as I made believed I didn't notice them looking. Lots of fun.

I can get to what I think is the site in question, namely TIme but to get any further I appear to have to agree to share most aspects of my life with parties unknown.
It might be nice to know what Avedon's views on animals were but the price is too high. I'll pass

A .mp4 file with H264 encoding plays everywhere on VLC or other free software. VHS tapes? probably not. Region-bound DVD? It stems from regional marketing restrictions, and can be hacked around easily. They are unplayable on American video systems.
How did we drift from Richard Avedon to stock exchange?Similarly, the French bourse (stock exchange) is too primative...
Oh I see the common factor is french-bashing.I'm not surprised that a French person is unable

I think I may have misunderstood the meaning of the word "views". In a photography context especially in U.S. parlance, "views" may simply be photographs of animals. I had(probably wrongly) interpreted views in the more usual meaning in U.K. English of meaning opinions. So I now think that letting you know my views means letting you see my prints(see below). I was not trying to set myself up as an Avedon rival in the matter of photography. How would Avedon's views on animals meet your needs?
Since "views on animals" are crucial for you, please let us all know your own "views on animals".

In the photographic sense I have very few "views" on animals but I do enjoy looking at prints of both domestic and wild animals. By too high a price I meant that my interpretation of Time's attitude towards my privacy was that it was trying to extract too high a price in terms of invasion of my privacy just to let me see prints/articles on animals, even from a renown photographer such as Avedon.
I hope that clears matters up

I thought I had explained what I thought might have been a difference on my interpretation of the word "views" and what you actually meant by "views". So when you asked me how Avedon's views on animals were crucial to me I tried to explain my position.Seems a bizarre response to my question. What, exactly, is "Time's attitude toward" the privacy of pentaxuser? And how does that relate to Richard Avedon's photography?

I would have liked to either see his views as in photographs or his views meaning opinions on animals but releasing my data to Time was too high a price to pay for either desire. Time's attitude towards my privacy is that it demands details on my privacy and gives me no way of controlling this which thankfully is no longer the case for companies in Europe
Mr Avedon's views on animals are not crucial to me in either sense or not to the extent of giving my details to Time
I do hope this explains now my position but if it fails to, then best we simply move on
