Hello - Wanted to mention that I enjoyed the Avedon exhibit at the Detroit Institute of Arts this last weekend. They also had a gallery with some photographs by Adams and Weston and others showing various techniques and subjects spanning 100 years. Worth checking out!

I thought it was great exhibition as well and would recommend it to any one who can make it. As bad a rap as Detroit gets the DIA is a world class Art institute.

100 Years of Photography at DIA

Crossed the border on Sunday to go the the Detroit Institute of Arts and see the 100 Years of Photography exhibit. Amazing photos by some of the giants of photography from 1840 t0 1940. If anyone is in the area, it's worth seeing. An Avedon exhibit is there too. It's a very nice gallery worth spending a lot of time in.
