This news has been around for about a month. There were several postings at several forums (one here, I thought) about it. They bought up the remaining stock of Polaroid. Once it is gone from there I suppose it is really gone!

You missed the best part of the site. Before they opened they had a message with the number of seconds remaining before the site opened. The countdown started weeks before opening. It was really cute!

Well, if you think that's all you have missed... before the "rename" to polapremium.com, they have been around for a lo-o-ong time as unsaleable.com. (The new website was probably just a new way to get/renew our attention? )

Having said that... I've bought Polaroid film from unsaleable.com a few times in the past; a great shop, and to the best of my knowledge the best remaining resource of Polaroid materials. (No, there's nothing in it for me, I'm just a satisfied customer.)

The local camera store where I live still has a lot of that in stock for a heck of a lot less money than they're asking.
