Available 400 speed B&W in 120?

So it's been some time since Fuji killed Neopan 400 in 120 and that leaves me wondering what exactly is left?

I see that Freestyle has Arista Edu, but that looks like rebadged Foma. I know that Kodak still has (new/different) Tri-X. Are there any other options for B&W in 120?

P.S. Has anyone seen a press release from Fuji that states one way or another if they're replacing Neo 400? Not wanting to speculate or pass rumors, just wondering if anyone's seen anything solid.

Off the top of my head this is what I can remember. Check Freestyle and B&H and I am sure you will find a few more.

A few more with which I am not familiar (Do they have an 80 speed and a 20 speed b/w, or is that Adox?)

All that counts is that you have the information. I shoot mostly Kodak Tri-X 400 in 120, Ilford HP5+ in 4x5.

I don't know if you want to process in C41

Ilford XP2 Super

It's C41 process, but it has a clear substrate so you could print on B&W paper unlike the discontinued in 120 format Kodak BW400CN

Oops. I listed any 120 film, not just 400!

...and I left out XP2.

Are BW400CN or the Fuji b/w C-41 film made in medium format?

BW400CN has been terminated in MF, sadly.

Thanks, Mike. I know all of these films exist because I have used most of them at some point or another, even if not regularly; all except the Foma and the Efke Aura. I also work near Freestyle, so I am in there frequently.

So, for 400 it looks like:

HP5
Delta 400
XP2
Tri-X
T-Max 400
Foma 400
Rollei IR 400
...and probably some more that I don't know (possibly including Fuji's b/w C-41 film, which I have never tried)

I'd say that if you liked Neopan 400, then Delta 400, T-Max 400, or Rollei IR 400 would be the most suitable replacements.

Ah but the relative price of IR400 is pretty sobering, unless you need the long wave response! I just ran through five rolls of it and took a few sans filter to see what would happen, it looks OK, but not at $9 a roll for 120.

Apart from some rest stock:
Retro 100 (APX100)
Retro 400 (APX400)
Running out of stock.

Retro 80S Superpan 200 and Retro 400S are Gevaert aviation films with extended red sensitivity.
Retro 100 TONAL is an own formulation of Maco and is a real Orthopan film. (Like Acros 100, Efke 25-50)

So for iso 400 120 roll film you have an IR film (820nm) and the Retro 400S.

WoW! I didn't expect this large of a response. Thank you ALL for the info. and weighing in. I would have responded sooner, but wasn't near a computer most of the weekend and my android phone has been acting up (I've been experimenting with it).

I've only just started coming back to film this year or so after a long hiatus, and right now I'm sticking to B&W. Acros 100 has been my main film, but I was looking a faster, complementary film. I had bought some Neo 400 in 120 and really liked it and then remembered some brouhaha about it being discontinued. When I checked, sure enough, it had been canceled. So I guess I'll experiment around to find another film to complement Acros.

Indeed...but it is certainly very nice in quality.
