Hello,

I am considering building an 11x14 box camera for a certain project. I have found several sources for film, but can never seem to find holders for sale. Are they still made? If not, what do they generally go for, and where can I find them? Would be nice to have about five of them for what I want to do.

S&S, AWB, Lotus, Tachihara, and probably a few other companies (possibly Chamonix) make wooden holders for 11x14". The easiest to find new are S&S--

AWB and Lotus are more expensive. I'm not sure where to buy the Tachiharas, but I know they exist. You may have to look for a source in Japan.

Used holders for 11x14" aren't necessarily cheaper than new ones. Nice plastic 11x14" holders sometimes sell for upwards of $400 each. Older wooden ones, though, can go for under $200 each. I've got two S&S and two older Hoffman holders.
