Autumn print showing

Hate to be the one who mentions it but are we due another print showing, I know it's rich coming from me seeing as I didn't bring anything to the last meeting, I'm sure it'll be October/November by the time we meet so should we start the ball rolling ?:confused:.

Thanks for getting the ball rolling Paul. I've been out shooting recently, so I have negatives. Now it's just a matter of getting back into the darkroom.

As a complete newbie, can I ask what should I be aiming to bring? eg 3 or 4 prints mounted etc?

Fran we encourage people to bring between 5-10 prints and because they are placed on a shelf for viewing it is handy to have a backing mount on them to keep them upright. The mounting does not have to be permanent as people are looking at the photos and not the mounts. Size of prints vary from 8 x 10 to 12 x 16, again this is not important.

Looks like it's starting to shape up to be a good print showing, last one or two Saturdays in October or most of November suits me fine but if I can I'll go with the flow, how's everyone else fixed ?

I can do October dates, those are safe bets, or 24 Nov or 01 Dec, both with a small uncertainty which would disappear in about 2 weeks or so, when I have confirmed my work travel plans. Looking forward, very much!

Right folks, whats it going to be? Going by Rafal's dates I'll vote for 24th November. My brain will only prompt me to make prints when I know the actual date we are meeting

Afraid not Peter. It's just that I don't attend meetings that often since I've retired. But be assured I will confirm the date within a fortnight of the meeting date even if I have to attend a meeting about the glories of digital photography.
