If you want an intersting and very good autofocus camera look up the Contax; I can not remmeber the model but it is one of the AX series from memory. Instead of the lens moving, the film plane moves and hence all the manual focus Y/C mount Yashica and Zeiss mount lenses will fit and work. The camera tended to have a better balance and for me a better feel than the then autofocus lens based bodies. The system allowed a macro for all lenses without using extension tubes, a macro lens or a bellows.

But do not, I repeat, DO NOT try manually focusing with a Leicaflex SL: you'll find all other good manual focusing viewfinders disappointing and you'll throw any AF cameras you get hold of into the trash....

Unless you already own a Pentax LX, then it won't effect you at all!
