Let me invent the wheel for you. I am researching autochromes for last 10 years and an thought comes and goes in to my mind.

We bought an original glass plate autochrome.
Removed the emulsion.
Now we have a filter.
Lets protect the filter for long time.
We bought slide film and contact slide copy the filter.
And than we used that filter at our panchromatic camera works with einstein principles and battery.

What do you think ?

Hey Mustafa. I saw you asked this question in the other thread -- it's my understanding that the reversal processing (particularly the bleaching step) would probably destroy the color pattern recorded in the color film. You might be able to find a way to sufficiently protect it...

I wouldn't mind sending you one of my screens to play with if you'd like.

Hey thank you very much , one of the best gifts I have ever taken in christmas time. pm will be at you in couple of minutes.

By the way , we discussed that remove and we decided that it was possible. And its been done by LLevadr, ine.

If I remember , there might be a protective coating on color filter and it withstands removing the panchro.

Yes , it removes the panchro and only color filter survives.

Best,

Umut
