I think there are many ways to create your autochrome pictures . I am thinking to sell the technology for a small fee to a photographer who will order his specialized color filters from china or india for printing or taking his autochromes.
I had been investigated the chemicals used and now I am at the second stage to collect spectrum graphs per dye. I know the panchro emulsion dyes also.
And if we know the response of films and papers , I think it would be better to estimate the spectrums of filters. Anyone can make a web site and recalculate the special order spectrums per film and paper.
I will try but of course information is open and anyone can try it also.
I will post whatever I found , collected here.
Now I am waiting Sigma's response. It would take a week or so.
Every dye will have a filter or if it would be possible , one filter have all.
